The Story of Island Found Treasures

Hello! My name is Dylan and I have a passion for jewelry and jewelry design.

I have a full experience of the wide spectrum of jewelry sales, from selling brand new pieces in a mall store, to buying and selling used jewelry, one-of-a-kind pieces and scrap gold all while working for a "gold & silver" business.

As a gold buyer, some of the jewelry pieces that people sold to me were beautiful and in amazing condition. However, those pieces were generally scrapped for the gold and silver content in the settings, which would then be melted down to make gold and silver bars. I found this to be a perfectly good waste of jewelry that was beautiful and often extraordinary in design.  Consequently, my passion led me to buying and rescuing the best pieces for their quality or design. And, in doing so, I also was contributing to a cleaner environment. 

After a few years of saving beautiful pieces of jewelry, I am amassed a large inventory which led me to the decision to open my own online store. Through my online store, I can share my passion, offer my expertise and sell at realistic prices. Now you can buy a beautiful, one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry for much less than it would cost new! And, as a bonus, you get to do your part in adding to a better environment!

My online store is a new and exciting adventure that will go through changes to achieve how I envision the Island Found Treasures website.
